How to Find Time to Exercise When You're Busy
"So how do you do it? How do you find the time?" It's a question I get asked a lot. Like most women, I have a full schedule of duties, and it's a juggling act. Time is a valuable commodity, and it's easily lost when things aren't planned.
Make it a priority
With anything in life, if it's a priority you do it, and if it's not, it gets left behind. How high you place your health and fitness decides your commitment. Once you make the time, exercise soon becomes part of your life.
When is the right time to exercise?
Whenever you can. Make the most of your day and train when you can, not necessarily when you feel like it. You might prefer mornings but only have time in the evening. Don't hesitate, just do it. You'll soon get used to training at that planned time.
How much time do you need?
It depends on what you can manage. Some days you might only have 10 minutes planned, and other days an hour. To get the most from the time you have, exercise efficiently. An easy option for a 10 minute workout is a 10 minute run, out and back. Work on beating your time coming home. Maximum effort in minimum time equals fit. It's a great lunchtime workout.
There's no time like the present. This is your time. Use it and do something great for yourself.
