5 Simple Tips to Get Moving Again

Getting active can be hard when the weather's cold or life gets busy. The decision to start is the hardest part. Make it now, and you'll get the results you want with no regrets. Here are 5 simple tips to help you get into a routine, whether you train on your own, with your partner or with a group of friends.

1. Move

Plan your weekly exercise routine. That could be personal training sessions, gym classes or your own workout.

2. Eat

Have a healthy breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day. Fresh fruit is a great way to boost your energy.

3. Drink water

Water is often forgotten in the colder months. Drink 5 glasses of water before lunchtime and you only have 3 more to go before bed.

4. Make time to play

Play with your kids, run with your dog or best friend, meet your friends for a walk, climb those stairs. Any incidental activity counts towards your total energy spent.

5. Skip the sneaky extras

No muffins, cakes, biscuits or tiny teddies with your coffee or tea. Say no more.
